Head item disappeared

Hi,

I logged on today and saw I had no head equipped (which is very strange). I noticed this in an Arathi basin battleground. Before I joined the BG, I was randomly disconnected from the server. After that I logged on and did the battleground. I checked my mailbox, my bank, my bags and vendor buy back, but [Malefic Mask of the Shadows] was just missing.

I am very sad because I got it from my very first Gruul's Lair just 2 days ago and its my first epic item. 
The raid ID 120374. My guild members from Stormforged can vouch for me.
