Hambi Posted yesterday at 01:46 PM Posted yesterday at 01:46 PM (edited) In the first room of Sunwell Plateau, Sunblade Protectors (deactivated, resting against the walls) can be tab-targeted through solid wall despite no line-of-sight (LoS). Sending a pet to attack the targeted mob causes the pet to go directly through the wall to engage it. After pet dead, the Protector comes through the wall to chase and attack the player, bypassing normal LoS and pathing restrictions. This allows pulling and killing this one mob alone through the wall. Β Step-by-step reproduction steps: Enter Sunwell Plateau raid instance Position your character in the initial antechamber (right after entering instance). Face the wall to the right Use tab-target to select a Sunblade Protector through the solid wall (no direct LoS). Command your pet (e.g. Warlock demon) to attack the targeted Protector. Observe: Pet paths straight through the wall to the mob's location. Allow the mob to kill the pet. Observe: The now-active Sunblade Protector paths back through the wall toward your position and engages you in combat, ignoring the barrier. This reproduces consistently on pull. Expected behavior: Mobs behind solid geometry should not be targetable without LoS (tab-target should skip them). Pets should follow valid pathing and be unable to clip through walls to reach inaccessible targets. Once aggroed, mobs should not path through impassable barriers to pursue players, maintaining instance geometry integrity. This prevents invalid pulls and aligns with retail TBC behavior in Sunwell trash packs. Game world where the bug was found: Sunwell Plateau (raid instance, Isle of Quel'Danas).
