When I try to pull a single mob from the trash packs in front of first boss in botanica they all come.

I took the quests Agmath, the first gate and Rohendor, the second gate and ever since then I cannot abandon any quest - I get prompted to abandon Agmath, the first gate every time I try to abandon any quest and when I accept it does nothing.
