Hello, I have a problem. Yesterday, I won the trinket https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=34472/shard-of-contempt in MGT HC; my main specialization is Enhancement. I was playing as Restoration, and today the trinket is missing, even though I won the roll for it. Any idea why?

RAID AND LOOT DISTRIBUTION RULES

Standard loot rules: By default, players are allowed to roll Need on all items appropriate for their class and main specialization. If you intend to claim items for an alternative specialization, you must notify all participants in advance - either before receiving the cooldown (ID) or directly upon entering a dungeon or raid with an active cooldown. Rolls for an alternative specialization must use the Greed function. Rolls for items that do not match any of your class's specializations are prohibited.

You didn't notified everyone about it, therefore your main spec was restoration.

I had a power outage, so I couldn't let anyone know; Honordius told me he explained the situation to people. I had to go to ZA with the guild, and I only ran MGT as Resto because we couldn't find a healer. That Warrior didn't even want the trinket when I messaged him today.

Reread the logs and unfortunately there was no mention from [Honordriuss] or from you indicating that you were rolling for an off-spec item. Accordingly, your main specialization was recorded as Restoration.

Complaint was from another party member, but warriors roll was higher, therefore item went to him.
