Retri paladin rolled on spell dmg ring without announcement which specc will roll

aladin name Potom who is retri rolled "Need" and won the ring "Ring of Omnipotence" without previously to announce that he will roll spell dmg second to roll am I mage named Ivana... I think this isnt fair and item should be redistrubuted to the next highest roller ( in this case Me) Thanks
